Extra day = extra pay
So far it's been quiet--no creepy legal opponents...yet. Tomorrow is the first court date, so the pro se litigant might be saving up for then. Who knows. I have a strong feeling the case will get dismissed, which would be to everyone's benefit. The threatening emails really need to stop.
Had to order my birth certificate online. Instead of going to the county clerk's office, you have to order from a 3rd party service now because of COVID. What would have taken fifteen minutes at the clerk's office will now take fifteen days.
FINALLY got my information for health insurance. It's been a mess ever since they declared me legally disabled. (In MAY. It took more than six months to get all of the details, ID #, etc.) I wonder if it always takes so long, or if they are also back-logged because of COVID.
Kitten goes in for her shots next week. Time keeps marching forward. I'm listening to instrumental Christmas music at the office today. Holly had decorated last week, so there is a small tree & some lights. I feel very holiday-cozy today. It's overcast, but there is no snow in the forecast here until possibly Friday.
Today hubs is coming back to the office with a salad. My bil (the other attorney here) brought me a breakfast sandwich this morning. I definitely can't complain. At least I'm getting fed during my time here!
